THE POSSIBILITIES.
A high-purity silica mass for lining induction furnaces. Its grading is matched to each furnace’s make and capacity, and magnetic separation removes free iron. With fewer binders, less fireclay and less moisture than plastic masses, it gives a thermally stable, corrosion- and wear-resistant lining, reaching 17–18 heats per lining in typical operation.
